Student Membership Application
Before submitting your application, please read more about membership in the Inn and review our meeting dates for the upcoming year. Before you apply, please review the following:
Attendance at Inn meetings is mandatory. Members are allowed to miss only one meeting per year, provided it is not the meeting where their group presents. If you are unable to attend a meeting, you are required to send a substitute in your place.
Outside of regular Inn meetings, there will be opportunities for students to engage with a mentor. This includes observing court events, lunch, coffee, etc. Students should make themselves available and expect to participate in at least one activity between Inn meetings.
All prospective members should reserve the evening of September 26, 2024 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. (tentative date) for new member orientation and welcome reception.
If accepted to the Inn, law student dues is $200 a year. This fee includes your National Inn dues and meals. A limited number of scholarships are available to defray up to 50% of the cost. Dues is due by check or money order at or before new member orientation and is non-refundable.
Active participation and professionalism are key components of the American Inns of Court. You should not submit an application unless you are able to commit to the above. For more information about membership, contact our membership chair.
